Week 21 “What defines you?”

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”  ~Albert Einstein

Either I define the moment or the moment defines me.  I start with my ability to control my thoughts.  Remembering that each of us is God’s greatest miracle.  Why would we limit ourselves?

Learning how to recognize and pay attention to “the comfort zone” has been critical for me.   For me this is the place that I can easily fall back into, the place of momentary least resistance.  That is when I must UN-brace myself so I move!  Expanding my comfort zone a little bit….which is better than doing nothing and staying stuck.  Like the millstones necessary to make the wheat into something useful, I want to EM-brace the stones of change in order to have the life I want.

Most people choose comfort. Even though the comfort is built on fear, guilt, unworthiness, hurt feelings and anger. Thus, we are left with the life we currently have.  Our comfort zone will control us until we control it!  Do I pursue what I want, or do I do what is comfortable?  We must accept responsibility.  We create our choices.  The world within is what determines the world without….not the other way around.   When we change the way we look at things the things we look at change.

Do I indulge my heart or cater to my fear? Approval is fear based.  A pseudo sense of control.  We can only stay stuck because we choose comfort.  Then we must take responsibility for the consequences…positive or negative…day to day…moment by moment.  Difficulties, in-harmonies, and obstacles, indicate that we are either refusing to give out what we no longer need, or refusing to accept what we require.  “What am I afraid of?”

We masquerade in our roles and forget who we are….the miracle we started out as.  “Who am I?”

Trusting myself, I will follow my bliss.  Do what I love and overcome obstacles along the way.  Because true happiness and success is a progressive realization of worthy ideals and goals.  The tools we need are within us.

BE THE MIRACLE!

Blessings,

DawnE
